me as a butterfly

I was assigned to ask 10 people for feed back on my greatest strengths along with my greatest weaknesses. I did this and honestly it felt good to receive the feedback because I was able to reflect on myself as a person. I am actually proud of my self for who I am and am happy to receive feed back on how to better improve myself since we are about to start a new year. When I got my feedback, I went to a website to make it into a word cloud and a visual representation of who I am as a person. I was really neat to be able to see how some words really popped out more than others or were bigger and more emphasized. Some of these words were hardworking, determined, quiet, loud ,athletic, and good.

my learning fall and rise

This semester was a roller coaster, as well as a rocky mountain as the year went on. When I first stepped foot into the classroom on August 12, I was really nervous. I had took honors English the year before, and even in elementary, so I thought it was right thing to take AP this year. When I signed up for the class, I saw it as a challenge that I knew I would be able to overcome. I was also mostly ready to expect for a lot of workbook, essays, and a lot of writing, because in all my previous classes it was the norm. When I first stepped in my heart was pounding. My reyes quickly scattered across the room to find anyone familiar. I saw my group of friends and I quickly hurried to them. I smiled, and nervously waited for the next 55 minutes of the same things all the teachers talked about in the first day is school. It took me by great surprise that my teacher  started off my giving us a choice on the first day. A choice to do our work with an open source learning method, or go by...

my brain on thanksgiving

My brain during Thanksgiving break gave up. It was tired of all the stress and wanted to rest for once in a long time. Although I waned to rest, undoubtedly, my Thanksgiving break was quite hectic if I may say. Starting of on Monday, I had practice for wrestling at 8am and 3pm. I couldn't even sleep in ! ;( Tuesday and Friday were the same thing. On Wednesday the wrestling team had to hep work the the boys dual which was pretty relaxing and not hectic. On Thursday the day of the turkey, the day we get to fill up our stomachs till we can't anymore, I helped getting everything ready for the night. Sadly for wrestlers you cant go all out because you have to be on weight, but I didn't care, pigged out and had no regrets. Saturday came and my team had to help out with the boys tournament. The dual we had helped out earlier in the week only lasted about 3-4 hours, but the tournament lasted about 6-7 hours. It wasn't as boring, but could've been more exiting. That day I was...

Interviews...

Tips To Success  Making a good first impression is always crucial when you want to impress somebody. For interviews, you always want to not only be prepared, but you also want to show how that you really care about getting the job, so you have to be presentable. How we dress: How we dress is really important, because we don't want to show up to an interview in regular clothes, or even worse in dirty clothes. This shows that do didn't care enough to go out and buy some professional looking clothes much less even have time to wash that stain out. Posture: Posture is also really important, because is shoes how much you are interested. If you have good posture, is shoes that you are interested in what the interviewer has to say, ans it shoes that you are lazy. Mouth check:  Make sure to always have a nice smelling breath and check that you don't have nay food stuck in your teeth, the last thing you want to do is leave a first impression as the person with the cilantro or ...

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of the little minds. I don't even know what is means, but I saw it on the board and it sounded cool. :0

on self- reliance part five

last installment culture devalues individualism Emerson recommends being a risk taker an don't be afraid to try new things it will change ones self regard "B ut t he rage of travelling is a symptom of a deeper unsoundness affecting the whole intellectual action"   "All men plume themselves on the improvement of society, and no man improves. Society never advances. It recedes as fast on one side as it gains on the other. It undergoes continual changes; it is barbarous, it is civilized, it is christianized, it is rich, it is scientific; but this change is not amelioration. For every thing that is given, something is taken" " Society acquires new arts, and loses old instincts."  "Society is a wave. The wave moves onward, but the water of which it is composed does not. The same particle does not rise from the valley to the ridge. Its unity is only phenomenal. The persons who make up a nation to-day, next year die, and their experienc...
