In the pages 11- 26 of the Great Gatsby, I have learned this new knowledge:


  • nick meets tom Buchanan and his cousin daisy at their house 
  • tom is daisy's husband, he is a very masculine man. "now he was a sturdy, straw haired man of thirty with a rather hard mouth and supercilious mouth"
  • daisy seems so happy to seen nick 
  • nick meets jordan baker- a professional athlete 
  • nick finds out that daisy and gastsby have has a connection in he past
  • he also finds out that tom has another woman in new york.

my brain on thanksgiving

My brain during Thanksgiving break gave up. It was tired of all the stress and wanted to rest for once in a long time. Although I waned to rest, undoubtedly, my Thanksgiving break was quite hectic if I may say. Starting of on Monday, I had practice for wrestling at 8am and 3pm. I couldn't even sleep in ! ;( Tuesday and Friday were the same thing. On Wednesday the wrestling team had to hep work the the boys dual which was pretty relaxing and not hectic. On Thursday the day of the turkey, the day we get to fill up our stomachs till we can't anymore, I helped getting everything ready for the night. Sadly for wrestlers you cant go all out because you have to be on weight, but I didn't care, pigged out and had no regrets. Saturday came and my team had to help out with the boys tournament. The dual we had helped out earlier in the week only lasted about 3-4 hours, but the tournament lasted about 6-7 hours.It wasn't as boring, but could've been more exiting. That day I was...
