now it's a party/ gatsby chapter 3

I just read chapter 3 of The Great Gatsby, add here's what I got out of it:

• At the party, Nick overhears 2 women in yellow dresses talking about Gatsby. They say that he killed a man once and that he was a German spy during the war. ---- this makes him mysterious in a way--- he is capable of murder

• When nick goes into Gatsby's library, he finds a man in there he is a "stout, middle- aged man with enormous owl-eyed spectacles" he called him a criminal because of the car accident

• When Nick first meets Gatsby, he doesn't even know ts him, He imagines him as "florid and corpulent person in his middle years".

• Nick hangs out with Jordan at the party and the more time they spend together, he finds out that she is a liar. She avoids clever shrew men and, is fake to herself to please others

• When Nick meets Gatsby during the party, they agree to meet for lunch the next day

• At the the end of the chapter, Nick proceeds to say "I am one of the few honest people that I have ever known."He mentions this because after seeing Tom's and Jordan's real colors he knows he doesn't fit in with them.

• We also find out that Nick is invited to the party unlike most of the guest that usually just show up

• Tom also breaks Mrs. Wilson's nose because she's bold and keeps saying Daisy's name
