In  this chapter:

  • The mansion has an empty feeling and it seems bigger than ever
  • Everything seems dusty and hasn't been cleaned in a  long time
  • Gatsby feels as with his uniform he deserves Daisy but without it he feels in poverty again 
  • the Gardner told Gatsby tat he was going to drain the pool 
  • Gatsby didn't swim all summer so he thought he'd have a dip before autumn 
  • Wilson shoots and kills Gatsby while he is in the pool and proceeds to kill himself afterwards

The thought of life after high school sometimes makes me want to cry. I mean when I was little, being and adult seemed fun! I dreamt of getting married, having kids, living in a big house with a big backyard, just living life to the fullest. But now, I have come to realize that adult life is nothing like that. You have to worry about money (if your aren't rich), bills, and it is just stressful. Although we might not want to become adults, the reality is that it is inevitable, and we have to face the reality that we have to save up some money, or else were going to be broke and homeless. I have some money saved because I have worked over the summers, but hat money slowly disintegrates by each little craving I have, and all that money we spend on things like "it's just a dollar" adds up and we end up with no money if we don't carefully save it.
